Summer Spectacular

Sunday 14th August 2016, will see several Black Prince buses operating in conjunction with Dewsbury Bus Museum, as part of the combined event program for 2016, at the Summer Spectactular.

The main event is based at The Mill Outlet, Batley, with Black Princes buses serving the festivities by running on sections of route operated by the company in the 1980's, as shown in the photograph of MUO320F, in Batley forming a 230 service to Rothwell.

The red and yellow buses will operate over the entire 204 route between Morley and Batley, part of the 230 route between Batley and Westerton, with one journey each way extending the full route from Rothwell to Batley and returning from the event to Rothwell.

Special feeder links will also use the original Leeds-Morley X54 service, to join in with the 204 at Morley town hall.

Black Prince timetables are posted below, showing where you can catch up with our preserved examples of the fleet in service on the day.

Full event program and timetables for all of the routes operating during the event are available from WROPS, the Dewsbury Bus Museum, at a very fair £3.
