"On The Buses" The Leeds Running Day 2018
It's August already, the final preparations for the Leeds Running Day are in full swing.
This year, we have another fine selection of classic vehicles offering connections to several great Leeds attractions, including Thackray Medical Museum, joining the timetable for the first time.
The Leeds Industrial Museum @ Armley Mills will be operating the superb historical steam house and the museum are offering tours of the rarely seen collection of Leeds-built railway locomotives in conjunction with our running day. This collection is currently out of bounds due to the floods of 2015 causing severe damage to the building, so grab a tour while you can!.
The railway theme continues with the Middleton railway, running a service between 10:00-16:00 during the day, please visit the railway website for timetable information.
Thwaite Mills Watermill host our vehicle display along with classic cars, food and drink and family activities happening until 17:00!.
